Evaluation of the Effect of Chassis Dynamometer Load Setting on CO2 Emissions and Energy Demand of a Full Hybrid Vehicle

Among the solutions that make it possible to reduce CO2 emissions in transport sector, particularly urban traffic conditions, are hybrid vehicles. The share of driving performed electric mode for vehicles is highly dependent on motion resistance. There different methods determining resistance function during chassis dynamometer testing, leading test results. Therefore, main objective this study was determine effect load energy demand and a full-hybrid passenger car. Emissions tests according New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) were carried out three car’s motion. showed adopting methods, results differences up about 35% entire cycle. authors suggest case with dynamometers, necessary also provide information loading adopted tests.
